You will work with mentors to develop ideas from early hypotheses through rigorous experimentation, rapidly prototyping on state-of-the-art hardware. You will also partner with product and engineering groups to transfer research breakthroughs into real-world applications. The position requires a PhD student with expertise in computer vision, LLMs, and agents. Necessary skills include programming in Python or C++, using machine learning frameworks like PyTorch, and possessing a research track record. Knowledge of parallel programming like CUDA is also considered a plus.

What you'll do

  • Research, design, and implement novel embodied and agentic AI methods.
  • Develop research ideas from early hypothesis through rigorous experimentation.

What we're looking for

  • Must be pursuing a PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Must have excellent knowledge of AI theory and practice, specifically in computer vision, LLMs, and agents.
  • Must have excellent programming skills in rapid prototyping environments such as Python or C++.
  • Must have knowledge of common machine learning frameworks, such as PyTorch.
  • Must have a promising research track record.
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge in parallel programming, such as CUDA, is a plus (preferred).
