As a Senior Data Engineer on Palantir’s Defense Technology team, you will leverage your expertise in data engineering and machine learning to develop innovative solutions that enhance military operations. Your daily responsibilities include designing and implementing complex data pipelines using Python or TypeScript within the Palantir Foundry platform, ensuring seamless integration of diverse datasets through Code Repos and Pipeline Builder. You’ll collaborate closely with Agile teams, conducting code reviews and adhering to DevSecOps practices while working on cutting-edge projects that demand a deep understanding of Foundry’s security models and compliance frameworks. This role requires a strong background in Palantir Foundry AIP application development and experience with mission analytics or government-focused data solutions, making you a key player in shaping the future of defense technology.
Develop complex data engineering solutions using Palantir Foundry AIP for Defense clients.
Design and implement data ingestion, transformation pipelines using Code Repos or Pipeline Builder.
Create Foundry applications and workflows in Workshop and Ontology Manager to support mission objectives.
Collaborate with Agile teams on code reviews and DevSecOps practices for software development.
Engage stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into technical Palantir solutions.
Integrate AI/ML models within Foundry applications to enhance analytics capabilities.
What we're looking for
3+ years experience with Palantir Foundry AIP for application development.
Proficient in Python or TypeScript, and data ingestion/transformation tools.
Experience with Agile software teams, code reviews, and DevSecOps practices.
Strong engagement skills to define requirements and translate them into solutions.
Bachelor's degree required; Master’s in Computer Science preferred.
Knowledge of Foundry security models, access control, and compliance frameworks.
