Newport Engineering Office - Embedded SW Engineer will join the Simulation/Stimulation Software Engineering team to work on a technically challenging project supporting the US NAVY. What you'll do

Troubleshoot system configuration, software, and hardware problems.

Manage project tasks using Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA and Gitlab.
Support product lifecycles across multiple contractor sites, including potential travel.
Apply technical rigor and attention to detail to ensure high-quality software products.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's of Science degree or higher in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
Postgraduate engineering experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
Proficiency with software development languages including C++20, Java, Python, and bash (preferred).
Experience working in a Linux environment (preferred).
Proficiency in C++ or Java (preferred).
Demonstrated strong problem solving and analytical skills (preferred).
Familiarity with networking concepts, test philosophies, Agile methodologies, JIRA, Gitlab, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment tools like Ansible (preferred).
