Preferred candidates have experience with Cisco SD-WAN, Palo Alto NGFWs, and automation tools including Ansible and Terraform, along with a CCNP certification or equivalent.

What you'll do

  • Operate and maintain secure network solutions as a centralized enterprise capability for the US Army.
  • Perform legacy environment discovery to support migration of the Army’s global wide-area network.
  • Analyze SD-WAN and MPLS connectivity to ensure performance, quality of service, security, and mission requirements are met.
  • Support transformation of VRF, route tables, and traffic segmentation from legacy routers to AGUN solution.
  • Work with information assurance teams to maintain compliance with DoD standards for network security.

What we're looking for

  • Must have active DoD SECRET clearance and US citizenship.
  • Requires IAT Level II certification or equivalent upon hire; must obtain CE certification within six months.
  • Extensive experience in network device patching, upgrading, and lifecycle management.
  • Proficient in networking concepts including LAN/WAN, BGP, TCP/UDP, IPSec, and firewalls.
  • Experience with enterprise network management tools such as Palo Alto Panorama or Cisco Prime.
  • Expertise in system hardening and DoD STIG implementation for network infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with at least two major vendor technologies like Cisco, Juniper, or Palo Alto.
