We are hiring a Senior Network Engineer to join our Network Engineering team, responsible for delivering reliable and scalable network services across multi-region and global environments, including FedRAMP-authorized platforms. This role involves designing and implementing routing architectures, developing automation pipelines with Python and Ansible/AWX, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring compliance with security controls. The ideal candidate will work closely with Architecture, Product, Security, Compliance, and Operations teams to maintain secure, resilient, and automated networks in FedRAMP environments. Key responsibilities include network design and implementation, operations and reliability management, engineering and automation, execution planning, vendor management, and documentation creation. Candidates should have deep expertise in BGP and OSPF, hands-on experience with JunOS (MX, QFX, SRX preferred), proficiency in hybrid cloud networking, and a strong understanding of FedRAMP security controls.
Design and implement secure network segmentation and boundary controls for FedRAMP environments.
Optimize global IP backbone routing with multi-region redundancy and traffic-engineering strategies.
Develop automated provisioning pipelines using Python, Ansible/AWX, and Git-driven CI/CD workflows.
Ensure compliance and continuous monitoring in regulated FedRAMP environments.
Troubleshoot complex network issues and lead incident response for FedRAMP-relevant incidents.
Engineer enhancements and new capabilities supporting product evolution and FedRAMP boundary services.
Create and maintain high-quality documentation required for FedRAMP audits and assessments.
What we're looking for
7+ years of network engineering experience in large-scale, multi-region environments.
Deep expertise with BGP and OSPF in global IP backbone settings.
Experience operating or supporting FedRAMP Moderate and High environments.
Hands-on automation skills using Python, Ansible/AWX, and Git-driven CI/CD workflows.
Strong understanding of network security controls for FedRAMP compliance.
Proficiency with JunOS (MX, QFX, SRX preferred) and additional network OS platforms.
Ability to mentor engineers and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
