Network Engineer II

What you'll do

• Performs testing and validation of network devices, firmware, and configurations.
• Triages, troubleshoots, and repairs live site issues with minimal disruption to customers.
• Monitors network telemetry to identify patterns revealing errors and unexpected problems.
• Provides instructions for securely repairing, replacing, and maintaining physical network hardware.
• Defines and implements test cases using existing automation tools, exposing coverage gaps.
• Supports management of incidents by diagnosing and triaging issues during on-call duties.

What we're looking for

• Master’s degree in a relevant field plus 1 year of network design and automation experience, or bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience.
• Proven ability to manage secure network deployments and collaborate across teams for infrastructure support.
• Experience in using machine-readable definitions for deployment management and incident resolution.
• Strong skills in testing and validating network devices, firmware, and configurations with existing tools.
• Expertise in troubleshooting live site issues and participating in postmortem analysis processes.
• Knowledge of network components, features, and problem management tools to minimize customer disruption.
• Ability to provide instructions for securely maintaining physical network hardware and improving deployment processes.
