Senior and Principal Windows in the Cloud

What you'll do

• Design and build high-quality client and platform software for Windows cloud experiences.
• Develop cross-platform applications and cloud-connected services integrated with AI-driven workflows.
• Drive architecture and technical strategy for complex systems and customer-facing applications.
• Solve technical challenges regarding performance, scalability, reliability, security, and accessibility.
• Influence engineering practices and technical direction across multiple teams.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture.
• Lead broad technical initiatives to shape the next generation of Windows cloud products.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field and 4+ years of engineering experience with C, C++, or C# (or equivalent experience).
• Ability to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check.
• Experience designing and building commercial-quality products (preferred).
• Proficiency in at least one of C, C++, or C# (preferred).
• Experience with software design, coding, debugging, testing, and problem-solving (preferred).
• Experience developing complex desktop applications, systems software, platform technologies, cloud-connected applications, or large-scale services (preferred).
• Understanding of performance optimization, maintainability, reliability, and secure system design (preferred).
• Experience with Windows development, cross-platform clients, cloud computing, distributed systems, or AI technology integration (preferred).
