Modern Data & Strategy Architect

What you'll do

• Design solution architecture for virtualized and cloud-based environments including hosted and on-premise solutions.
• Plan, manage, and implement core components of Watson Service Offerings and Digital Insights Platforms.
• Create and deploy data lake architectures in virtualized and cloud-based environments.
• Provide expert implementation support for complex data platform integrations with existing systems.
• Define solution points of view and present service offerings to clients alongside Sales and Delivery teams.
• Deliver lasting business improvements and transformation through the implementation of data platforms.

What we're looking for

• Master's Degree (preferred).
• Proven experience planning, designing, managing, and implementing core components of data platforms like Snowflake and Databricks.
• Experience creating solutions in virtualized and cloud-based environments, including hosted and on-premise solutions.
• Proficiency in providing expert architecture, design, and implementation support for solutions in complex environments.
• Experience delivering business transformation through the implementation of data platforms and Watson Service Offerings.
• Data lake architecture expertise and virtualization knowledge (preferred).
• Snow Pro, Databricks, Claude, or OpenAI certifications and industry expertise in High Tech, Energy, Utilities, Manufacturing, or Product (preferred).
