As a Mixed-Signal Behavioral Modeling Engineer, you will join the mixed-signal design team to model complex custom circuits for verifying system-level functionality and performance in advanced SoCs. You will be responsible for writing functional models of custom mixed-signal circuits in SystemVerilog that incorporate non-idealities while collaborating with circuit design and verification teams. Your daily work involves analyzing data from circuit teams using Python or MATLAB, profiling model performance, and running simulations and formal equivalence tools to ensure accuracy against custom circuits. You will also improve modeling methodologies and optimize flows. Required skills include expertise in SystemVerilog, digital logic gates, clocking, state elements, and timing synchronous digital logic. Additional competencies include reading circuit schematics, understanding mixed-signal blocks like PLLs and SERDES, performing SPICE simulations, and writing PERL or Python scripts for automation.
