Mission Support Threat Engineering Lead - Level 4

What you'll do

• Lead strategic planning to coordinate with IPCs, MDS elements, and other stakeholders to determine specific threat representations needed for test events.
• Develop requirements for threat simulation models/software and Verification and Validation (V&V) documents across kinematic, RF, and IR domains.
• Direct a team of interdisciplinary engineers in deriving missile system requirements and conducting M&S activities.
• Communicate directly with government customer POCs to ensure accurate and timely delivery of threat models and data.
• Work with intelligence centers to obtain relevant threat missile assessments and data, identifying gaps for modeling.
• Identify innovative solutions to accelerate the production of test event deliverables and threat models.
• Review and approve Mission Support Threat Engineering team deliverables to maintain quality standards.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 8+ years of related experience or equivalent higher education and experience combination.
• Active Secret clearance at time of application; ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance required.
• Demonstrated leadership in team management and coordination across diverse stakeholders.
• Extensive experience (5+) working with Modeling & Simulation tools and data products.
• Deep understanding of missile systems, including flight characteristics, motion, and performance parameters.
• Experience modeling or simulating missile signatures in IR and RF domains preferred.
