What you'll do

  • Lead cross-functional engineering teams in missile/sensor development programs.
  • Manage technical performance and risk reduction activities throughout weapon system development.
  • Coordinate with program managers, engineers, suppliers, and customers on technical issues.
  • Ensure successful completion of major design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) and integration tests.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with team members, stakeholders, and subcontractors.
  • Communicate technical status and issues to internal leadership and external customers effectively.

What we're looking for

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional engineering teams in missile/sensor programs.
  • Extensive experience in DoD tactical system development, including customer interface and requirements management.
  • Proven track record of managing major subcontracts and executing integration and test plans.
  • Expertise in conducting Systems Requirements Review (SRR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR).
  • Strong knowledge in GPS systems, processor architecture, aerodynamics, GNC, data links, propulsion, warheads, software design.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills for technical status reporting to leadership and customers.
