Mid-Level or Senior Network Engineer - Millennium Space Systems

What you'll do

• Design and implement robust, scalable network architectures for LAN, WAN, wireless, and cloud environments.
• Manage and secure network infrastructure by configuring firewalls, implementing intrusion detection systems, and controlling access.
• Deploy and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Ensure network resilience through disaster recovery planning and business continuity measures.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and policies.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of experience in network engineering or equivalent
• Active IAT Level 2 certification per DoD Instruction 8570 (8140)
• Experience with multi-vendor switching and routing (e.g., Juniper, Cisco, Dell)
• Proficiency in deploying and maintaining VPN technologies (IPsec, SSL VPN, Azure ExpressRoute)
• Knowledge of network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible) and cloud networking environments
• Certified in at least one major vendor's network security solutions (JNCIA, PCNSA, CCNA or higher)
