As a Principal Product Manager - DevOps AI within Microsoft’s CoreAI team, you will lead platform investments to enhance how engineers build, ship, and operate software using AI. Your role involves driving crosscutting initiatives across GitHub, Azure DevOps, and One Engineering System (1ES) ecosystems, focusing on reducing developer friction while ensuring security and reliability. You will define clear problem statements and success metrics, collaborate with engineering, security, compliance, privacy, and AI platform teams to deliver production-ready solutions, and ensure end-to-end ownership of AI workflows. Ensure end-to-end design of AI workflows with clear ownership and feedback mechanisms for continuous improvement.
Use data and developer feedback to evaluate the impact of platform investments and drive continuous improvements.
Act as a thought partner on responsible AI application within Microsoft’s engineering system, influencing roadmaps and priorities.
What we're looking for
10+ years of product management experience building and shipping platform or developer tooling products.
Proven ability to work across multiple teams to deliver outcomes in complex organizations.
Experience defining and driving ambiguous problem spaces into concrete product investments.
Expertise with AI assisted workflows, automation, and intelligent systems for software engineering.
Deep understanding of developer and DevOps workflows including build, test, release, and operational feedback loops.
Excellent communication skills to align diverse stakeholders around shared goals and success metrics.
Familiarity with enterprise requirements related to security, compliance, privacy, and reliability in large-scale environments.
