What you'll do

Operate CMM, CT scanners, laser trackers, and optical systems to perform precise measurements on components and assemblies.
Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications to determine measurement requirements.
Run existing inspection programs and create or edit simple programs using specialized metrology software.
Perform routine calibration and maintenance checks on laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy.
Analyze measurement data to produce clear, detailed inspection reports for production and R&D teams.
Identify out-of-spec results and equipment issues to initiate root cause investigations.
Suggest process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of measurement workflows.

What we're looking for

Associate’s degree or equivalent technical training.
At least 2 years of experience as a quality inspector or CMM operator.
Experience using metrology hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, bore gages, and thread gages.
Familiarity with CMM software, preferably PolyWorks.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
Experience with 3D scanning, CT scanning, or optical measurement systems is preferred.
Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO 17025 quality systems is preferred.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
