What you'll do

  • Develop deployment pipelines with safe rollout strategies for edge/on-robot updates.
  • Contribute to capacity planning models to prevent scaling bottlenecks in data ingestion and real-time control loops.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 8+ years of technical engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in systems-level languages like C++, Go, Rust and scripting languages like Python, Bash.
  • 4+ years hands-on experience operating distributed systems in production environments.
  • Experience defining and operating against SLIs/SLOs with alerting and dashboard tools.
  • Knowledge of security engineering for IoT/edge systems including secure boot and encrypted communication channels.
  • Familiarity with Azure-specific services and their application to hybrid cloud-edge architectures.
  • Prior work in high-consequence industries where reliability directly impacts physical safety.
