Mechanical Engineer (Starshield) As part of the Starshield team, you will serve as a satellite mechanical and mechanisms engineer focused on government-oriented earth observation, communications, and hosted payloads. You will own the design and development of complex mechanisms and electromechanical systems from conceptual design through volume production and on-orbit operations. Your daily responsibilities include developing design criteria, performing environmental and performance testing to validate analysis, and driving manufacturing for design to reduce part counts and error-proofing. To succeed in this role, you must possess a degree in an engineering or STEM discipline along with experience using CAD or FEA software packages.
