Master Data Specialist, Engineering

What you'll do

• Create, maintain, and analyze master data within the SAP system to ensure accuracy and alignment with business processes.
• Manage master data governance activities including adherence to data standards and stewardship expectations.
• Monitor and report on process performance and transactional discipline metrics to support compliance and continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training materials for end users.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve master data issues while escalating complex problems as necessary.
• Lead process improvement projects by coordinating stakeholders and implementing best practices across the network.
• Provide technical consultation, coaching, and practical support to team members regarding master data expertise.
• Support safety, compliance, and GMP initiatives during external agency inspections.

What we're looking for

• A BS degree in Engineering, Sciences, Business, or a related field with relevant experience is required.
• A Master’s degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience is accepted as an alternative to the BS requirement.
• Direct experience working with SAP master data is required.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing principles and the ability to translate requirements into automation or digital solutions are required.
• Proficiency in Excel and strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Experience in pharma/sterile manufacturing is preferred.
• Experience working with MES systems is preferred.
