What you'll do

Formally supervise, coach, and develop a work group while managing performance appraisals and goal setting.
Provide strategic leadership for specific applications, systems, and software-development methodologies.
Ensure the quality of application codebases and maintain alignment with established development standards.
Design highly complex applications, interfaces, and integrations with multiple systems.
Perform performance engineering of the enterprise software architecture and provide functional guidance to other developers.
Conduct significant advanced code development, including code commits and pull-request reviews.
Research and evaluate tools to support domain-specific needs and assist in vendor selection.
Champion the use of AI across the group and in development processes.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
At least 2-3 years of people management experience.
8+ years of experience in product/framework/tools development, upgrades, and production support.
5+ years of experience working with multiple diverse teams in a strong matrix organization.
Advanced experience with Software Engineering concepts and methodologies.
Experience with coding languages such as Java, Go, C++, and ESQL.
Experience delivering scalable products through a CI/CD pipeline on-prem or in a public cloud.
Experience in high volume, low latency transaction processing systems (preferred).
