Manager, Product Group Engineering, PLM

What you'll do

• Manage Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) activities to support R&D and product development from concept through post-market changes.
• Own PLM platform capabilities, configurations, integrations, and roadmaps to align with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing needs.
• Implement AI, advanced analytics, and automation to modernize R&D platforms and accelerate product development cycles.
• Translate cross-functional business and engineering requirements into scalable PLM solutions and governed processes.
• Ensure all PLM solutions comply with regulatory, quality, and data integrity requirements such as design controls and traceability.
• Lead, coach, and manage a team of engineers and analysts to provide technical direction and performance management.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data quality, system usability, and operational efficiency across PLM processes.
• Manage vendor relationships and system partners to oversee solution delivery, enhancements, and support models.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• Master’s degree (MS or MBA) preferred.
• 6-8 years of progressive experience in PLM, engineering systems, or R&D IT with hands-on experience in enterprise PLM platforms.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and managing teams including coaching and performance management.
• Strong understanding of product development and lifecycle processes within regulated environments like medical devices or life sciences.
• Proficiency in English is required.
• Experience with medical device design controls, change management, and configuration management within PLM platforms (preferred).
• PLM, Agile, or Project Management certifications preferred.
