Manager of Data Engineering

What you'll do

• Define and maintain a data engineering roadmap aligned with business objectives and corporate data strategy.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing team of data and software engineers on design patterns and code quality.
• Influence the technical architecture and code standards for the Databricks enterprise lakehouse.
• Drive end-to-end delivery of reliable, scalable, and high-performance data pipelines in Databricks.
• Enforce engineering best practices and champion clean, modular architecture across all team projects.
• Manage the technical roadmap and ensure the timely execution of all project milestones.
• Coordinate with cross-functional leaders in areas such as supply chain, manufacturing, and human resources.

What we're looking for

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Must have a Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• Must have a minimum of 8 years of experience in software or data engineering with a relevant Bachelor's degree.
• Must have a minimum of 6 years of experience in software or data engineering with a relevant Master's degree.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in people management leading engineering teams.
• Must have proficiency with Databricks, cloud services (AWS), and data pipelines.
• Must have demonstrated skill in managing technical teams, process excellence, and meeting roadmap deliverables.
• Must have U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
