Manager, Product Design - Design Systems

What you'll do

• Build, govern, and maintain scalable component libraries across both design files and front-end code repositories.
• Establish logic, prompt criteria, and UX frameworks to govern AI-generated patterns and automated interfaces.
• Map complex data schemas into structured user flows optimized for human users and automated agents.
• Review production code to ensure design parity and implement foundational front-end updates.
• Perform heuristic evaluations of live experiences to measure system health and adoption metrics.
• Mentor the design team on systemic thinking, technical fluency, and advanced token usage.
• Develop playbooks and guardrails that ensure automated tools maintain brand integrity and cohesive journeys.
• Create high-fidelity documentation for accessibility mapping and human-to-automated agent interactions.

What we're looking for

• At least 6 years of experience in a Product Design, Systems Design, or Design Engineering role.
• At least 5 years building and scaling multi-level design systems.
• Experience navigating highly regulated, data-heavy, or premium/travel-specific digital ecosystems (preferred).
• A portfolio demonstrating complex systems problem-solving, UI engineering artifacts, and documentation of automated layouts (preferred).
• Deep code literacy to navigate, review, and collaborate within front-end code repositories like React, HTML/CSS, or token pipelines (preferred).
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools for front-end implementation and prototyping (preferred).
• Experience utilizing advanced AI tooling or LLM workflows within design or development pipelines (preferred).
