Manager I, Engineering, Coordination Systems Storage

What you'll do

• Lead a core team of five engineers across distributed locations.
• Manage team ceremonies, project prioritization, and task delegation.
• Write code for isolated features, small remediations, and investigation follow-ups.
• Manage active operations, including incident response and root cause analysis.
• Promote operational excellence by organizing gamedays and conducting operational reviews.
• Maintain proactive reliability standards for configuration storage and distribution systems.

What we're looking for

• Possess strong distributed systems skills and the ability to account for various failure modes.
• Demonstrate experience working on platform teams providing critical infrastructure to internal stakeholders.
• Have experience handling significant incidents as both a responder and a follow-up owner.
• Possess strong cross-team collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
• Maintain a strong foundation in coding with experience in performance optimizations and profiling.
• Ability to lead a core team of engineers, including leading ceremonies and delegating projects.
• Ability to stay hands-on with code for isolated features, small remediations, and investigation follow-ups.
• Ability to stay actively involved in operations, incidents, and root cause analysis.
