What you'll do

  • Lead a development team of engineers and provide technical guidance and career mentorship.
  • Manage the development of out-of-band/side-band management and peripherals including BMC communications.
  • Drive the planning, scheduling, and execution of all team projects and activities.
  • Collaborate with architecture and software design teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Work in pre and post-silicon development environments for next-generation networking products.
  • Perform hands-on firmware development activities for cloud, HPC, and storage products.
  • Debug and troubleshoot complex networking technologies, system stacks, and HW/FW/SW relationships.

What we're looking for

  • B.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of managerial experience.
  • Relevant firmware development experience.
  • Proficiency in C and assembly.
  • Strong programming skills in Python.
  • Excellent understanding of embedded SW and real-time programming.
  • Strong analytical, creative, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of network protocols (preferred); experience with Agile (preferred); proficiency in C++ (preferred); knowledge of firmware verification methodologies (preferred).
