What you'll do

Lead design, development, and implementation of advanced automation systems for high-volume solar cell production.
Identify equipment needs and develop solutions to improve yield, reduce cycle times, and minimize downtime in manufacturing lines.
Oversee full lifecycle of equipment projects from concept through commissioning, including budgeting and vendor management.

Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, SEMI) and SpaceX safety protocols while fostering continuous improvement.

What we're looking for

5+ years of experience in equipment engineering or automation, including project leadership
Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in a relevant engineering discipline
Experience with automation technologies and robotics in manufacturing environments
Strong knowledge of PLC programming, SCADA systems, and IoT sensors
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets over $10M and lead multidisciplinary teams
Proficiency in equipment qualification, validation, and troubleshooting in cleanroom settings
