This position is integral to scaling Starlink’s production capabilities, ensuring reliable and efficient factory operations that deliver internet connectivity to underserved communities worldwide.

What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and manage automation projects from ideation to hand-off.
  • Implement ANSI/RIA15.06/OSHA compliant systems for manufacturing equipment safety.
  • Create schedules and budgets for automation projects and motivate team adherence.
  • Electrical sizing of motors, cables, circuit protection, VFDs, motor starters, motion systems.
  • Program PLCs using Beckhoff TwinCAT structured text programming for machine control.

What we're looking for

  • 1+ years of experience in industrial or factory automation design and implementation.
  • Experience with electromechanical systems, including motor sizing and safety PLC programming.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming, preferably Beckhoff TwinCAT structured text.
  • Knowledge of field bus networks, serial communication, and Ethernet communication.
  • Ability to implement ANSI/RIA15.06/OSHA compliant systems for manufacturing equipment.
