Manager Data Analytics 3 leads the Data Architecture, Tools, and Metrics team within the Quality and Mission Assurance function. This role focuses on establishing a culture of data-driven decision making by promoting the application of data analytics and Artificial Intelligence tools across the organization. The manager is responsible for developing data strategies, leading the execution of technical activities, and driving the adoption of metrics for improved performance analysis. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing scalable data pipelines, managing Extract, Translate, and Load processes, building data models, and implementing robust quality monitoring frameworks. The role requires expertise in SQL, Tableau dashboard development, and large-scale distributed software within agile methodologies. The position addresses the business problem of transforming complex operational data into actionable insights to support strategic roadmaps and improve performance across various engineering and operations processes.
Develop and implement a data strategy to support the Quality and Mission Assurance (QMA) roadmap.
Lead the execution of Data Architecture, Tools, and Metrics activities for the organization.
Drive the adoption of metrics and data analysis methodologies across the sector to improve performance.
Monitor and analyze operational data to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations.
Engage with stakeholders to identify operational issues and develop technical solutions.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes from multiple sources.
Build and optimize data models specifically for analytics and reporting purposes.
Implement robust data quality, validation, and monitoring frameworks to ensure reliable insights.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 8 years of data engineering experience; or a Master's degree and 6 years of experience; or 12 years of experience.
At least 2 years of experience as a technical leader of product development teams that have successfully delivered customer-driven products.
Ability to present complex analytical subject matter across varied audiences.
Strong understanding of QMA, Operations, and engineering processes, tools, and techniques.
Experience with large scale distributed software and agile software development methodologies.
Demonstrated experience developing product visions and fostering effective engineering teams.
Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
Master's Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science (preferred); SQL proficiency; Tableau dashboard experience (preferred).
