As a Manager in the AI Next Frontier team at Johnson & Johnson’s US Pharmaceutical organization, you will lead the development and scaling of next-generation AI capabilities across Marketing, Patient, and Commercial Operations. Your day-to-day responsibilities include translating business needs into scalable AI solutions, leading end-to-end product initiatives, and driving the deployment of AI-powered tools that enhance engagement with healthcare professionals, patients, payers, and internal stakeholders. You will work closely with data science, engineering, and design teams to integrate these solutions into the Engagement.AI ecosystem, ensuring they meet regulatory standards while fostering innovation across the commercial enterprise. Ideal candidates have a PhD or Master’s degree in relevant fields, 5+ years of experience in AI-driven transformation initiatives, expertise in modern AI technologies like Generative AI and NLP, and hands-on experience with CRM platforms and omnichannel marketing ecosystems.
Lead end-to-end AI product development from ideation to deployment across Marketing, Patient, and Commercial Operations.
Translate business needs into scalable AI-driven solutions integrated with the Engagement.AI ecosystem.
Partner with data science, engineering, and design teams to deliver production-ready AI solutions.
Evaluate and manage external AI vendors and platforms for integration within the organization.
Ensure all AI initiatives comply with regulatory, privacy, ethical, and medical/legal standards.
Champion adoption of AI capabilities across Marketing, Patient, and Commercial Operations teams.
What we're looking for
PhD or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Marketing Analytics, Business Analytics, or related field required.
5+ years of experience leading AI-driven transformation initiatives in marketing, patient services, or commercial operations.
Strong expertise in modern AI technologies including Generative AI (LLMs), Agentic AI systems, NLP, and machine learning.
Hands-on experience with LLM applications, prompt engineering, RAG architectures, and/or AI agents.
Ability to translate complex business needs into AI product strategies and scalable solutions for marketing, patient, and commercial operations domains.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across business and technical domains.
Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders across both technical and executive audiences.
