Mainframe System Verification Tester Apprentice

What you'll do

• Create and execute test plans to assess electrical performance of mainframes.
• Identify defects and repair issues in hardware components during testing phases.
• Use state-of-the-art tools for testing and inspecting product chips accurately.
• Interpret data obtained from tests and consolidate findings with engineering teams.
• Learn principles of system analysis and lab safety procedures relevant to tasks.

What we're looking for

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in electrical engineering principles including safety and testing equipment.
• Proficient in soldering and de-soldering techniques.
• Understanding of electron theory, AC/DC basics, and computer electronics.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
• Training in state-of-the-art tools for product chip testing and inspection.
