We are seeking experienced Software Engineers to join our Agile development team in Lisle, IL, where you will work independently while collaborating closely with peers to deliver high-quality software solutions aligned with user needs and business objectives. Your day-to-day responsibilities include developing modern software using Assembler and Metal C on the mainframe platform, creating unit tests, performing functional testing, and participating in customer demos and feedback sessions. You will also drive efficiency through best practices and define pipelines for Continuous Testing within Agile teams. Ideal candidates have at least 5 years of mainframe development experience, mastery of IBM mainframe environments, and expertise in debugging tools like IPCS, VM Trace, XDC, as well as familiarity with ZOWE frameworks and security protocols.

What you'll do

Develop high-quality software using Agile methodologies with minimal supervision.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s in Engineering with 5+ years or Master’s degree with 3+ years of related experience.
Experience in mainframe development using Assembler, Metal C, Java, and Rest APIs.
Proficient in mainframe debugging tools like IPCS, VM Trace, XDC.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an Agile team environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and expertise in software testing methodologies (BDD/TDD).
Experience with source control systems such as Endevor and understanding of security protocols.
