Machine Learning Engineer

What you'll do

• Research and develop groundbreaking generative AI models for image enhancement and restoration.
• Develop advanced machine learning models to solve complex challenges in camera applications.
• Design, train, and fine-tune complex architectures including diffusion models, GANs, and autoregressive models.
• Apply computer vision principles to improve image and video analysis and processing.
• Collaborate with GPU optimization and framework teams to integrate features into production.
• Deploy advanced machine learning features across the Apple ecosystem for iPhone and iPad.

What we're looking for

• An MS or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with advanced generative AI architectures including diffusion models, GANs, and autoregressive models.
• Strong programming skills in Python and deep learning frameworks like PyTorch.
• Practical experience in the design, training, and fine-tuning of complex generative AI architectures (preferred).
• Robust theoretical and practical foundation in core computer vision principles for image and video analysis (preferred).
• Exceptional analytical problem-solving capabilities and technical communication skills (preferred).
• Publication record in highly selective, peer-reviewed conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, or NeurIPS (preferred).
