LVC Integration Engineer

What you'll do

• Lead the development of the Marine Corps' live, virtual, and constructive training environments.
• Translate real-world mission needs into technical specifications for engineering solutions.
• Integrate new software and hardware solutions into existing Marine Corps systems.
• Merge software, hardware, and network capacity to create persistent, networked training environments.
• Utilize network and distributed modeling tools like Wireshark, Redsim, SIMDIS, or RTI-s.
• Evolve training systems using advanced technology solutions to support all-domain training.
• Apply knowledge of HLA and DIS protocols to develop distributed simulation environments.

What we're looking for

• Experience as a JTAC or with Battalion-level fires.
• Knowledge of distributed simulation protocols such as High-Level Architecture (HLA) and Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS).
• Knowledge of Joint C4I tactical systems such as Link 16, GCCS-J, or USMC C4I.
• Knowledge of the principles associated with creating virtual and constructive environments.
• Knowledge of networks and networking concepts.
• Ability to utilize network and distributed modeling and simulation tools such as Wireshark, Redsim, SIMDIS, or RTI-s.
• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience with distributed modeling and simulation, or 5+ years of experience with distributed modeling and simulation in lieu of a degree.
• Secret clearance.
