LRU Technician

What you'll do

• Execute precise electromechanical assembly of avionics hardware according to detailed engineering drawings.
• Prepare and handle components per military and aerospace cleanliness standards.
• Identify and document non-conformances or build issues for quality teams.
• Perform functional testing on avionics assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Maintain accurate build records and ensure full traceability consistent with aerospace standards.
• Assist in polymeric process applications such as potting, encapsulation, bonding, and conformal coating.

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as an LRU technician or in a similar role within aerospace, defense, telecommunications, or related industries.
• Proficient knowledge of electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems related to LRUs.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, wiring diagrams, and maintenance manuals.
• Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and functional test systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting and process improvements.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
• Mechanical assembly skills including torque tools, bonding, and integration of electronics into enclosures or chassis.
