Software Engineer

What you'll do

• Improve the accuracy and reliability of GNSS position estimation across all environments.
• Develop GNSS aiding and corrections data for navigation and other applications.
• Build cloud systems for the efficient network delivery of GNSS aiding data.
• Own and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to ensure data quality and availability.
• Manage technical relationships with external data vendors and partners.
• Develop and debug software running on hundreds of millions of mobile devices.
• Research, design, and support the full lifecycle of location software components.

What we're looking for

• BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Geomatics, or another engineering discipline.
• Software development experience in C++.
• Knowledge of statistics and random processes with experience applying them to sensor data from physical systems.
• Experience with GNSS in areas such as position estimation, satellite orbits/ephemerides, or atmospheric error modeling.
• Knowledge of state estimation techniques, such as Kalman filtering (preferred).
• Experience using AI within the engineering process (preferred).
• Experience with GNSS measurements from challenged environments such as mobile devices, indoors, or in urban canyons (preferred).
• Software development experience for cloud services (preferred).
