As the Liquidity & Account Solutions- Payments-Business Intelligence & Analytics Data Owner- Executive Director, you will lead the strategy and governance of critical data assets to power business growth, analytics, and AI innovation. You are responsible for the strategic ownership, quality, and oversight of data across multiple business domains while establishing governance frameworks, operating models, and standards to ensure data is secure and fit for regulatory use. Your daily work involves managing metadata, cataloging, ensuring lineage from authoritative systems, and overseeing access models while partnering with Data Product Managers and Engineers. You will mitigate risks, promote interoperability, and lead high-performing teams in a complex environment. Required expertise includes deep knowledge of data mesh, data product principles, and advanced analytics to solve problems related to data integrity and enterprise-wide data management within the financial services sector.
Lead the strategy and governance of critical data assets to support business growth, analytics, and AI innovation.
Establish and manage data governance frameworks, operating models, and standards across multiple business domains.
Ensure data integrity by sourcing from authoritative systems with clear lineage and provenance.
Define and monitor data quality standards while managing remediation processes and control gaps.
Oversee data access, entitlement models, and security to ensure compliant usage.
Drive metadata management, data cataloging, and discoverability across enterprise platforms.
Identify and mitigate data risks while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Lead and develop high-performing teams to advance organizational data management capabilities.
What we're looking for
8+ years of experience in financial services, data management, governance, or related disciplines.
Extensive experience leading data governance, data management, or data ownership functions within a large-scale organization.
Deep understanding of data governance frameworks, operating models, metadata management, and data quality disciplines.
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive enterprise-wide governance initiatives.
Experience establishing controls, standards, and accountability frameworks across multiple data domains.
Strong knowledge of data product, data mesh, interoperability, and modern data management principles.
Demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate data-related risks while balancing business value and regulatory requirements.
Advanced degree in a STEM, business, or related field (preferred); industry-recognized data governance, management, or risk certifications (preferred).
