What you'll do

  • Design architecture and develop solutions to meet organizational needs in a hybrid cloud environment.
  • Create, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux instances across multiple networks and architectures.
  • Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Linux systems to ensure operational stability.
  • Deploy COTS and FOSS services on Linux systems.
  • Create, debug, and implement automation scripts using Bash, Python, Puppet, and Ansible.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in coordination with diverse teams and service owners.
  • Manage AWS Cloud technologies, including EC2 Auto Scaling, AWS-CLI, and Boto3.

What we're looking for

  • Must possess a TS/SCI security clearance with a polygraph.
  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Must have ten years of experience as a Systems Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Five years of additional Systems Administrator experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Must have Linux administration experience including configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Must have experience deploying COTS/FOSS services on Linux systems.
  • Must have experience creating, debugging, and implementing Bash, Python, Puppet, and/or Ansible automation scripts.
  • Must comply with DoD 8570.01-M with a minimum certification of IAT Level II (SEC+, CCNA).
  • Experience with AWS, specifically EC2 Auto Scaling (preferred).
  • Experience with AWS-CLI and Boto3 (preferred).
  • Ability to work in a team and mentor junior staff (preferred).
