Linux System and Security Analyst

What you'll do

• Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues and end-user technical challenges for hardware and software.
• Design secure systems and perform risk assessments in compliance with CMMC standards.
• Provide Linux and Windows desktop, server, and network administration based on the NIST framework.
• Apply DISA STIGs to secure IT infrastructure and maintain documentation for Authorization to Operate (ATO).
• Automate the deployment and monitoring of computer systems across the organization.
• Manage hardware lifecycles and perform vulnerability and patch management for Linux systems.
• Ensure R&D teams comply with CMMC security controls to protect Controlled Unclassified Information.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for all company hardware and software assets.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an IT-related field.
• 3 years of Linux-related work experience.
• Experience installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining Linux-based software and hardware installations.
• Fluency in Linux CLI, TCP/IP, LAN/VLAN Networking, Patch Management, and Backup.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and MS Office.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain DCSA clearance within 15 months of employment.
• Experience in a fast-paced office environment (preferred).
