Linux System and Security Analyst

What you'll do

• Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues with autonomy to maintain production continuity.
• Design secure systems and perform risk assessments in compliance with CMMC and NIST standards.
• Provide Linux and Windows desktop, server, and network administration support for the entire company.
• Apply DISA STIGs to secure IT infrastructure and maintain documentation for continuous Authorization to Operate.
• Automate the deployment and monitoring of computer systems across the organization.
• Manage the hardware lifecycle and asset inventory for Windows and Linux-based servers and VMs.
• Execute vulnerability and patch management processes to remediate Linux security flaws.
• Support Engineering and R&D teams to ensure strict compliance with CMMC security controls.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an IT-related field.
• 3 years of Linux-related work experience.
• Experience installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining Linux-based software and hardware.
• Fluency in Linux CLI, TCP/IP, LAN/VLAN Networking, Patch Management, and Backup.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain DCSA clearance within 15 months of employment.
• Prior experience in a fast-paced office environment (preferred).
