As a Lead Technical Writer on the Agentforce Operations team, you will manage and build upon an established documentation set, including Help and Developer Documentation, for an agentic workflow platform. You will collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to translate startup-speed processes into clear content while navigating the integration of a recently acquired product into Salesforce's standards. Your daily work involves creating technical content, developing UI labels and user assistance in code, and staffing cross-functional prototyping pods. To succeed, you must utilize AI tools for research and creation, alongside technologies such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Markdown, and Git. The role requires expertise in developer or API documentation to solve the challenge of maintaining a scalable documentation architecture while managing the ambiguity inherent in a rapidly evolving, high-growth product area focused on agentic workflows and automation.
Create and maintain technical documentation for Agentforce Operations' agentic workflow platform.
Translate startup-speed processes into clear, usable content while integrating them into Salesforce standards.
Partner with product and engineering teams to develop UI labels and user assistance in code.
Use AI tools for research, review, and content creation to meet high-velocity production demands.
Manage documentation architecture and strategy for both Help and Developer documentation sets.
Proactively identify stakeholders and ownership within a rapidly evolving organizational structure.
Advocate for customer needs while navigating the cultural integration between startup mindsets and corporate standards.
What we're looking for
5+ years of professional technical writing experience, ideally including developer or API documentation.
Demonstrated ability to maintain and scale existing documentation architecture while adapting to new product features.
Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments without finalized roadmaps or organizational charts.
Experience working directly with engineers and founders in fast-paced, startup-like environments.
Strong stakeholder management skills to build trust with cross-functional teams.
Experience using AI tools for content creation, research, and review.
Proficiency with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Markdown, and Git.
Familiarity with agentic workflow, process automation, or AI building tools (preferred); experience documenting acquired products integrating into larger companies (preferred).
