Lead Technical Consultant

What you'll do

• Manage project execution by organizing Jira backlogs, building release plans, and streamlining delivery workflows.
• Translate product features into robust user stories with detailed acceptance criteria and clear definitions of ready/done.
• Oversee team capacity, monitor delivery velocity, and maintain performance metrics within Jira to ensure predictable completion.
• Shield implementation teams from mid-stream disruptions and ad-hoc change requests to maintain engineering focus.
• Identify delivery bottlenecks and implement automated processes to reduce time-to-market for digital products.
• Resolve critical project roadblocks and manage dependencies to mitigate risks before they impact product releases.
• Serve as the primary technical bridge between business stakeholders, integration partners, and core engineering groups.
• Provide technical consultation on APIs and backend systems to assist with sizing, impact assessments, and troubleshooting.

What we're looking for

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager or Agile Delivery Lead in the banking or payments industries.
• At least 2 years of experience working with JIRA and API testing tools.
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
• 4+ years of technical project management experience within API-driven architectures, including familiarity with security protocols and troubleshooting (preferred).
• 4+ years of experience with JIRA, including complex workflow creation and dashboard building (preferred).
