What you'll do

Develop secure, high-quality production code while reviewing and debugging code written by other team members.
Design and develop technical solutions to solve complex problems beyond routine or conventional approaches.
Identify opportunities to automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve system operational stability.
Lead evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams to assess architectural designs and technical credentials.
Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices for code review, refactoring, and testing.
Establish validation standards for AI outputs to ensure security, performance, and correctness within the development workflow.
Implement automation and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices across all phases of the software development life cycle.
Deliver high-throughput, low-latency solutions for mission-critical 24/7 applications using cloud-native engineering.

What we're looking for

5+ years of middleware software development experience.
Advanced proficiency in at least one programming language.
Experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability for production services.
Proficiency in implementing automation and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices across all SDLC phases.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and coaching others on safe, compliant adoption.
In-depth knowledge of financial services and common enterprise IT systems.
Practical cloud-native engineering experience with exposure to AWS and Terraform.
Server-side programming (Java preferred), Spring framework, Kafka, and high-throughput solution design (preferred).
