The Lead Software Engineer, Full Stack (Risk Tech, Intelligent Foundations & Experiences) joins the Risk Tech team to drive a major transformation by integrating the risk management stack with an enterprise GenAI layer. You will lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers to build distributed microservices and full stack systems that meet regulatory needs. Your daily work involves architecting LLM-driven capabilities for frontline risk managers and delivering robust cloud-based solutions. You will utilize JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, alongside Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases. Technical skills include Docker, Kubernetes, and various AWS tools. This role solves complex business problems within Risk Management Tech and AML and Compliance Tech to ensure ethical, compliant, and real-time risk monitoring.

What you'll do

  • Architect and integrate the risk management stack with the enterprise GenAI layer.
  • Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers to meet regulatory needs.
  • Build distributed microservices and full-stack systems using Java, Python, Go, and TypeScript.
  • Develop robust cloud-based solutions using AWS tools and container orchestration like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Manage and query open-source RDBMS and NoSQL databases to support data-driven capabilities.
  • Mentor other members of the engineering community and share knowledge on emerging tech trends.
  • Deliver technical solutions that ensure products comply with BSA/AML regulations and global laws.

What we're looking for

  • At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Master's Degree (preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go (preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service (preferred).
  • 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks (preferred).
  • 1+ years of people management experience (preferred).
