The Lead Software Engineer, Full Stack (Golang, Python, GenAI) (Cloud Operations Resilience Engineering) joins the Cloud Operations Resilience Engineering technology division to evolve the foundational cloud infrastructure layer. This role involves designing AI-driven systems to automate governance, oversight, and real-time risk management while building well-architected solutions for observability, connectivity, and availability. You will drive the technical roadmap for enterprise architecture tooling, establishing intelligent guardrails and pioneering event-driven architectures and mesh data topologies. Daily responsibilities include writing code, conducting architecture reviews, and creating proofs-of-concept for distributed systems and microservices. The required technical stack includes Java, Python, Go, and TypeScript, alongside Docker, Kubernetes, open-source RDBMS/NoSQL databases, and AWS cloud services. You will solve complex problems regarding architectural excellence, regulatory compliance, and horizontal scalability.

What you'll do

Shape and advance the technical vision and long-term roadmap for Enterprise Architecture tooling.
Design AI-driven solutions to enforce real-time governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
Implement event-driven architectures, mesh data topologies, and cloud-native designs for scalable systems.
Oversee the architectural design, testing, deployment, and optimization of distributed systems and microservices.
Write production code, conduct architecture reviews, and create proofs-of-concept to validate technical directions.
Develop and maintain applications using Golang, Python, Java, and TypeScript on AWS cloud services.
Experiment with emerging technologies such as LLMs and automated compliance agents.

What we're looking for

At least 4 years of experience in software engineering.
At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud).
Master's Degree (preferred).
7+ years of experience with Golang and Python (preferred).
3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure (preferred).
4+ years of experience in open source frameworks (preferred).
Experience leveraging interactive AI tooling to accelerate productivity beyond basic code completion (preferred).
