This role involves leading a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers to build distributed microservices and full stack systems that meet regulatory needs. You will develop proactive, automated security solutions that evaluate infrastructure configurations like CloudFormation, Terraform/OpenTofu, and Gears against security controls in real time. The position requires proficiency in JavaScript, Python, Go, and Rego, along with experience in Open Source RDBMS, NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and Snowflake. You will solve complex problems regarding cloud observability, connectivity, and resilience while utilizing AI tools to accelerate productivity within a collaborative engineering environment.

What you'll do

Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers to create solutions meeting regulatory needs.
Secure the enterprise-scale multi-cloud ecosystem across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
Evaluate infrastructure configurations like CloudFormation, Terraform, and Gears against security controls in real time.
Build proactive, automated security solutions at massive scale to block non-compliant resources.
Develop robust cloud-based solutions using JavaScript, Python, Go, and various AWS tools.
Manage container orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes.
Utilize open source RDBMS and NoSQL databases to support distributed microservices.
Mentor other members of the engineering community and share expertise on emerging technology trends.

What we're looking for

At least 4 years of experience in software engineering.
At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
Experience with JavaScript, Python, Go, Open Source RDBMS, NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS tools.
Master's Degree (preferred).
7+ years of experience in at least one of the following: Python, Go, or Rego (preferred).
3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service (preferred).
4+ years of experience in open source frameworks (preferred).
