The Lead Software Engineer, Enterprise CI/CD (AWS, Python, Groovy) joins a team of makers to build and maintain a large-scale CI/CD platform used by thousands of developers. You will own the design and delivery of platform capabilities, re-architecting the system to support high-velocity software production in the agentic AI era. Key responsibilities include leading diverse technology projects, providing technical mentorship, setting engineering standards, and building automated compliance and controls into the platform. You will work across a broad stack including JVM languages, Go, Python, TypeScript, SQL, and open source frameworks. The role requires expertise in containers, Kubernetes, distributed systems, workflow engines, and various AWS services to solve the technical challenge of accelerating software delivery while maintaining regulatory obligations across the entire enterprise.

What you'll do

Own the design and delivery of platform capabilities used by thousands of software pipelines.
Re-architect the CI/CD platform to support higher software production rates and define system contracts.
Lead a portfolio of technology projects while providing technical leadership and mentorship to engineers.
Establish engineering standards and improve the quality and craft of shipped software.
Build automated compliance and controls directly into the platform to meet regulatory obligations.
Develop solutions using a broad stack including JVM languages, Go, Python, TypeScript, Kubernetes, and AWS.

What we're looking for

At least 4 years of experience in software engineering.
At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
Master's Degree (preferred).
7+ years of experience in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go (preferred).
3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service (preferred).
4+ years of experience in open source frameworks (preferred).
1+ years of people management experience (preferred).
