As a Lead Software Engineer - Full Stack | Critical Platform Development, you will join the Data & Control Plane developer team within the Chief Technology Office for Engineering Services & Platforms. What you'll do

Execute creative software solutions, design, and technical troubleshooting for complex problems.
Develop secure, high-quality production code and perform code reviews and debugging for others.
Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Establish consistent validation standards for secure coding, peer review, and automated testing.
Apply SDLC toolchain knowledge and automation capabilities to improve software development value.
Identify and automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve operational stability.
Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams to probe architectural designs and technical credentials.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Advanced proficiency in Java and React.
Frontend expertise in developing UI applications.
Experience with RESTful API design, data-driven design, microservices, event-driven architecture, and enterprise integration patterns.
Experience with messaging platforms and stream data processing, specifically Kafka.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and coaching engineers on responsible AI use.
Practical cloud native experience with AWS and knowledge of containerization platforms like Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
