What you'll do

Design and operate edge network security infrastructure including WAF rule sets and bot protection services.
Develop Python-based automation tools to manage WAF policies and security event workflows across AWS.
Build and maintain serverless architectures using AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, and Application Load Balancers.
Utilize AI coding assistants and analysis tools to identify patterns in security telemetry and accelerate development.
Translate threat intelligence and compliance requirements into deployable infrastructure-as-code.
Participate in on-call rotations and incident response for edge security events using automation.
Experiment with new cloud security capabilities and share knowledge across engineering teams.

What we're looking for

At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience.
At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud).
Master's Degree (preferred).
7+ years of experience in at least one of the following: Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js (preferred).
2+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service (preferred).
4+ years of experience in open source frameworks (preferred).
1+ years of people management experience (preferred).
