Lead Software Engineer, Back End (Golang, AWS) joins the DPI team to transform how data is accessed for faster decision-making. Working within the Evergreen squad, this individual leads a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers focused on distributed microservices and full stack systems. The role involves building robust cloud-based solutions to meet regulatory needs while managing software frameworks, SDLC automation, test automation, SRE, CD, and R&R. The candidate will utilize technologies including GraphQL, serverless AWS infrastructure, Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, Scala, Docker, Kubernetes, and various Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases. This position addresses the technical challenge of marrying data with emerging technologies to create scalable systems within a cloud-based platform designed to meet enterprise-scale needs through iterative delivery in a collaborative environment.

What you'll do

Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of experienced developers.
Develop distributed microservices and full-stack systems to meet corporate regulatory needs.
Build robust cloud-based solutions using AWS infrastructure, GraphQL, and serverless technologies.
Write and evaluate code using languages such as Go, Java, Python, or Node.js.
Manage and implement SDLC automation, test automation, and SRE practices.
Mentor other members of the engineering community to foster technical growth.
Integrate open-source RDBMS/NoSQL databases and container orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

What we're looking for

At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience.
At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud).
Master's Degree preferred.
7+ years of experience in at least one of Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js.
2+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
4+ years of experience in open source frameworks.
1+ years of people management experience and 2+ years of experience in Agile practices.
Work authorization that require immigration support from an employer.
