What you'll do

Design and build scalable data pipelines and microservices using Java, Apache Spark, Scala, and Spring Boot.
Engineer systems to ingest and process billions of customer data points with low latency and high availability.
Integrate AI coding assistants and autonomous agents into daily development workflows and automated testing.
Design backend architectures and APIs that interface with AI/ML models and LLM endpoints.
Lead and mentor a team of engineers while establishing best practices for code reviews and system reliability.
Build cost-effective cloud architectures using AWS services like EMR, Glue, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
Optimize SQL queries and tune Spark jobs to minimize compute costs and maximize data throughput.
Implement robust monitoring, alerting, and automated pipelines to ensure data quality and zero-downtime deployments.

What we're looking for

At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience.
At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud).
Master’s Degree (preferred).
7+ years of professional engineering experience utilizing Java, Scala, Python, or Go (preferred).
4+ years of experience with Advanced SQL and NoSQL database systems (preferred).
3+ years of hands-on cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) (preferred).
3+ years of experience working with various open source frameworks (preferred).
2+ years of experience in Apache Spark performance tuning (preferred).
Proficiency in leveraging AI-native development tools (preferred).
