Lead Security Engineer with TS/SCI Poly

What you'll do

• Lead security engineering efforts for a large, complex network environment.
• Manage and mentor a team of ISSOs and ISSEs to meet program requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Secure the Enterprise/Secure the Network (STE/STN) requirements.
• Design and execute static and dynamic application security testing activities.
• Develop clear remediation recommendations for identified security issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to enhance understanding of vulnerabilities.

What we're looking for

• Master’s degree in Information Technology or related field and at least 15 years of relevant experience.
• At least 10 years of experience leading large Security Engineering teams with CISSP certification.
• Extensive hands-on experience with modern security tools, encryption technologies, and web services.
• Expert-level understanding of security vulnerabilities, risk assessment, and IT security policy formulation.
• Solid understanding of ATOs, SSPs, and STE/STN requirements; direct experience collaborating with software developers.
• Strong communication skills to convey program requirements and compliance challenges to stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate across multiple internal teams for planning and remediation activities.
