Lead, Network Security Operations

What you'll do

• Oversee daily security operations including incident management and rapid detection of security threats.
• Lead response efforts for Priority 1 and Priority 2 security incidents.
• Manage and mentor a distributed team of U.S.-based and offshore security engineers.
• Act as the primary escalation point for critical security incidents and communicate with senior leadership.
• Review and approve operational changes while conducting necessary risk assessments.
• Manage the lifecycle, health, and optimization of firewall platforms and proxy technologies like Zscaler.
• Partner with engineering teams to roll out and operationalize new security capabilities.
• Enhance operational standards and workflows to improve security outcomes and efficiency.

What we're looking for

• Demonstrated experience in Security Operations.
• Experience managing network and perimeter security environments.
• Hands-on experience with Check Point and Cisco ASA firewalls.
• Hands-on experience with proxy solutions and Web Application Firewalls (WAF).
• Required experience with Zscaler.
• Strong understanding of routing protocols, client/server architectures, and network traffic flow.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and grow technical teams.
• CISSP, CCNP Security, or equivalent certifications (preferred).
