Lead Director, Network and Data Center Engineering

What you'll do

• Lead the strategy, design, and delivery of network infrastructure for enterprise applications and AI/ML workloads.
• Develop and enforce network architecture standards, security controls, and compliance policies like HIPAA and NIST.
• Design and implement data center fabrics and AI/GPU-optimized networking for low latency and high throughput.
• Optimize performance for GPU workloads using RDMA, RoCE, ECN, and PFC technologies.
• Oversee 24/7 network operations across cloud and data centers to ensure high availability and resiliency.
• Build and mentor high-performing engineering teams while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
• Champion automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to improve network scalability and efficiency.
• Own the network architecture roadmap and long-term strategic planning for AI and cloud environments.

What we're looking for

• 10+ years’ experience in network and/or data center engineering.
• 5+ years’ experience in a strategic leadership position with people management.
• 5+ years’ experience in large scale enterprise environments.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (High School Diploma and 4 years relevant experience).
• CCIE/CCNP, PCNSE, CISSP, or Cloud networking certifications (preferred).
• Strong expertise in large-scale data center design, security, and high availability (preferred).
• Experience with AI factory / GPU cluster environments at scale (preferred).
• Proficiency with network automation, IaC, SDN, service mesh, and cloud-native security frameworks (preferred).
